  I have been coming to this store for ages where an old man used to run the store. Today (March 17, 2018) I came in and found that the old man is no longer here. Instead, another fella is behind the counter. I was here to change a watch battery for my girlfriend's watch. The new fellow was quick and he changed the battery within 5 mins. However, upon closer inspection after I received the watch, the caseback was full of gouges top and bottom. How did the guy scratch both the top and bottom portion of the caseback? The attention to details were poor. The old man back in the days would never scratch it that badly. The fellow came out and said scratches are normal. In his hand, was a dull pocket knife with edges almost serrated. WHY WAS HE NOT USING A CASEBACK OPENER?? Extremely disappointed. The guy did offer to buff the caseback, but my girlfriend's watch is made of Titanium with laser edged engraving on the caseback; buffing would only ruin it more. To the guy: If you are dealing with other people's jewellery, ultmost attention to detail is always required! Don't bother offering your services if you don't even have the proper tools to do your job. My 2 cent.
