  It was many years ago, but this company severely ripped me off. I brought my boat and motors in for winterizing servicing and when I came to pick it up, the whole electrical system was fried. They denied responsibility and because the insurance company could not prove what happened, I had to pay the deductible to repair it. I believe I was poorly treated not like a customer. I had even bought the 9.9 from them!! I now travel all the way to Port Moody Checkpoint Yamaha because I never want to deal with Galleon Marine again. I just had my 2 outboards stolen and have to buy 2 new motors. i sure am not going to Galleon Marine for that!

  Ouch, just stumbled on this looking for Galleon's phone number. I feel I should comment because for over 20 years my Father and I have both frequented the Richmond shop. Our old family Bayliner and now my Explorer and Yamaha's came from them, and our service experience is the exact opposite. It's the same family working there and good news or bad they know what they are doing and always been straight shooters with us. I have also had some insurance issues! I like the part , your insurance company expert couldn't prove the cause, yet you appear to have proof the Galleon mechanic did it ?
