Usually don't leave reviews but this is my first purchase with them and I probably won't be coming back. Placed an online order for a power supply for pickup in Richmond. A few days has gone by yet I haven't received a notification that it's ready (there is stock in all stores except Richmond) so I finally spoke with them on the phone and they said it may take a week to come from the Ontario warehouse. It's been over 2 weeks today (stock is still available at Burnaby and Vancouver) yet they told me it may take up to 3-4 months at times for stock to be shipped to this location. 3-4 months?! I asked to speak with a supervisor and manager and the staff member was reluctant to escalate it saying they'll tell me the same thing. The supervisor who finally assisted said it could be transferred in by the end of week from a nearby store. This is exactly my request 2 weeks ago. Extremely inexperienced and unprofessional staff. Great way to leave a first impression. Feb 16th Update Finally got my email notification that my order is now ready for picked up. Unfortunately the $10 MIR had ended last night and I explained my situation to the manager on duty as I had placed this order 3 weeks ago within the eligible time frame of the MIR. He apologized and said there's nothing he can do and this is what it's going to be. I understand that it's a MIR but this delay was caused by the store especially when I had requested this to be transferred in couple weeks ago but they said it wasn't an option but somehow it was then possible. He explained to me it was Burnaby's Grand opening few weeks ago so transfers weren't allowed (but no further follow-up action was taken after their grand opening week). I asked if $10 can be taken off to offset the MIR that they had caused me to miss. He said taking off $10 is below cost, which is certainly not a customer's problem, and furthermore, the system doesn't allow him to change the price. Excuses after excuses, he then randomly mentioned them not being NCIX so their system is different. Not quite sure why he mentioned NCIX out of no where, but this purchase has nothing to do with a different retailer and the issue was only created because it wasn't properly addressed. Anyways, in the end he unwillingly and miraculously was now able to take $10 off the item. I'm fairly confident that had I not called them earlier this week, I'd still be without my order waiting up to 3-4 months as quoted for an Ontario shipment to come in. I appreciate that $10 was finally taken off but I had wasted 2 phone calls and 20 minutes of my time arguing over $10 when this shouldn't ever have been an issue from the very beginning if my web order was properly taken care of. Needless to say, my first experience with this chain has been extremely frustrating from inexperienced staff to unhelpful managers. Will definitely not return again.
